1. How do I access the Members Section?
To access the Members Section of the website and gain access to the Free Charts, Competitions
and other great things available to Members only, first login using the username
and password you received in your Membership Confirmation email. The login
boxes can be found at the top left hand side of any page on the main CNSC website.
Once you have logged in successfully, the login boxes will be replaced by a welcome message and you can then access the Members Section by clicking on the Members button in the top navigation boxes.
2. When I try to login, I get a message telling me my details are not in the database. What does this mean?
If you receive this message, it could be that you mistyped either your username
or password. First check your Membership Confirmation email to ensure you have
the correct login details and then try again.
If you continue to get the same message, it means your account was de-activated over a month ago and, as no request to re-activate it was received during that time, it has now been removed from the database. You will need to register for a new account before you can access the Members Section.
3. When I try to login, I receive a message saying my account has been de-activated. What does this mean?
If your membership has been de-activated, this is a result of Newsletters that have been sent to
your registered email address bouncing back to our server. When this happens, the bouncing email
address is automatically de-activated in our database to prevent our mail server being overloaded
with bounced mails in the future.
To prevent this happening, please ensure you keep your registered email address up to date. You can do this on Your Profile page within the Members section of this website.
If you no longer wish to receive the monthly Newsletter, you can also change your current subscription settings on Your Profile page within the Members section of this website.
If your membership has been de-atcivated, you can apply for re-activation by sending an email to support@cnsc.co.uk with the subject line of "Membership re-activation" and include either your email address or your Username. Your membership will then be re-activated and, as a security precaution, you will be issued a new password which will be sent by email to the address you are currently registered with.
If you have changed your address and no longer have access to the email address we currently have on record for you, you will not be able to successfully re-activate your account and you will need to register for a new acccount before you can access the Members section.
4. I have changed my email address. How do I update my account?
You can update your email address and any other membership details by logging in to the Member Section
and then clicking on the YOUR DETAILS link on the left hand side of any of the Members
pages.
REMEMBER it is your responsibility to keep your membership details up to date. We cannot change email addresses or any other information on your behalf.
If you cannot login and you have changed your email address, you will need to register for a new account as any password reminders sent out will automatically be sent to the email address that we currently hold on record for you. If you no longer have access to that email address, you will not receive the reminder email.
Please DO NOT CONTACT US and ask us to change your email address or any other membership details as we cannot do this.
5. I have lost my username and/or password. Can I get a reminder?
If you have lost your username and/or password, you can have a reminder sent to you.
PLEASE NOTE: Password reminders are automatically sent to the email address we currently hold on record for you. If you have changed your email address and no longer have access to your previous email address, you will not be able to receive the password reminder. If this is the case, you will need to register for a new account in order to access the Members section of the website.
Please DO NOT CONTACT US and ask us to change your email address or any other membership details as we cannot do this.
