1. Lost or forgotten Password and Username
If you have lost or forgotten your login details, you can use our automatic
password reminder form to have your
details emailed to you.
2. Membership De-activation
If you have requested to receive the monthly CNSC Newsletter it will be sent
automatically to the email address you gave when setting up your account. If the Newsletter is
returned to our mail server reporting that the email address is either invalid or not accepting
mail, the system will automatically de-activate your account to prevent further bounces from
overloading our email server.
If this happens, you will receive a message informing you that your account has been de-activated when you next try to login to the Members area of the site and you will be given details as to whether your account can be re-activated or not and if it can, instructions on how to do so.
If your account cannot be re-activated, you will need to register for a new acccount before you can access the Members section of the website.
PLEASE NOTE:
If you have subscribed to the CNSC Newsletter, it is important to keep your
account details up to date in order to avoid it being de-activated.
3. Changing your Email Addresses
If you change your email address, please use the 'YOUR DETAILS' link in the
Members Section to update your membership.
Members are sent occasional emails to inform them of important changes to the operation of the site. If these mails are returned as undeliverable, the membership is de-activated for a period of 3 months after which time the membership is considered dormant and any relevant information in the database is removed in accordance with data collection guidelines.
If a membership is de-activated, the member is advised when they attempt to login and are given instructions for re-activating their membership at that point.
Please DO NOT CONTACT US and ask us to change your email address or any other membership details as we cannot do this.
4. Cookies
If you are having difficulties logging on to the Members Section, it may be that
your cookies on your computer are turned off.

5. Incorrect Email Address
If you are having problems logging into the members section or if you have not received your
Introductory email containing your unique Username and
Password, it may be due to your email address being entered incorrectly on
the Membership Application form. Invalid emails are automatically
removed from the database at the time of membership application, as are details of email
addresses that bounce due to an error in spelling.
If you think you may have made a mistake during your application, you should register again ensuring you use a valid email address and correct spelling.
6. AOL Users
Some AOL users have had difficulty logging onto the members section of the site. This
is because their email settings within their AOL account have been set up to block email
sent via the website or the CNSC directly.
If you have an AOL account and you are having difficulties with logging in, registering or receiving mail from us or the website, please check your email privacy settings. According to the AOL Postmaster information on the AOL website, this has to be done by the account holder - they cannot change anything on your behalf.
If you have checked all the points above and are still having difficulties, please email us giving a brief account of the problems you are experiencing.
